Never Seen Your Face

This is a song that grows on you. It’s contemporary with an intro that features a soaring guitar riff, but then falls back to a soft start after which the song builds and builds to a great crescendo. I love it.

When this song was recorded live in concert by The Williams Brother, they invited two men calling themselves “K & K Mime” to perform while the song was sung. I find the performance beautiful and truly adding to the power of the song. Here’s a video of the performance from YouTube. Worth the watch; I’d never seen “gospel mime” and it’s wonderful when done well. (Sorry for the video quality; there doesn’t seem to be a great version available on YouTube.
