A great slow traditional song taken straight from the blues. Gospel music and secular black music has always moved in lockstep as genres morph and develop, and this is gospel “blues” at it’s best from my one of my favorite traditional singers/producers, Rev. Clay Evans.
The song simply says, “If you make it in glory before I do, save a seat for me!”
- Save A Seat For Me Rev. Clay Evans & The AARC Mass Choir 5:58
Oh, and for those who might wonder what the AARC in AARC Mass Choir stands for, it’s the “African-American Religious Connection“.
