Our second tour of Italy was to Calabria, the most southern part of country, on
the azure blue Ionian Sea. We stayed in the seaside village of Rochella
Jonica, and sang a memorable concert the town's outdoor amphitheater under a
rising full moon. A day trip across the Straits of Messina to Sicily was a
high point. Traveling north, we left Rochella and visited Pompeii, Capri,
staying in a gorgeous hotel high above the Mediterranean Sea in Sorrento.
The tour ended with a trip to Rome, and another final SRO concert in Nettuno.
